Here is a list of recommended products and service providers. I do actually use these service providers, so I’m recommending them because they have served me well so far. If I feel that their service is not up to scratch or there are issues with their product, I will be the first to withdraw my support for them.
In recommending a product or service provider, I look for the following:

- functionality and ease of use

Domain Registration
Godaddy is the website for me when I’m searching or registering a new domain name. It is easy to use and they always have promotions/discounts so you can register your domain name very cheaply.
Domain Hosting
I use JustHost for all my domain hosting rather than Godaddy. The big selling factor for me is unlimited domain hosting and unlimited space. They also have free, one click installation for Wordpress which is great for newbies like me!
Their customer service is also extremely efficient and helpful – there is nothing worse then sending off multiple requests for assistance and no one responding to your queries (been there – done that). Plus you can cancel anytime without any strings attached.
Autoresponder
I subscribe to Aweber for this service. As someone that has never used an autoresponder I found Aweber easy to use and more importantly, the customer service/support is fantastic. It’s only $19/month and is invaluable for automating your emails to your subscriber list.
